Review
This is official description
PDF Password Remover can be used to decrypt protected Adobe Acrobat PDF files, which have "owner" password set, preventing the file from editing (changing), printing, selecting text and graphics (and copying them into the Clipboard), or adding/changing annotations and form fields. Decryption is being done instantly. Decrypted file can be opened in any PDF viewer (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader) without any restrictions -- i.e. with edit/copy/print functions enabled. All versions of Adobe Acrobat (including 9.x, which features 128-bit encryption) are supported. Easy to install and easy to manipulate. A very useful tool.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 3.0
PDF Password Remover is an application that deletes owner passwords. PDF files can be protected in one or two ways. They can be protected using an user password, which will prevent you from ever opening the file if you don't have the password. They can also be protected using an owner password, which restricts several functions of the PDF file in question. For example, an owner-password protected file will not let you print a document, or edit it, or even select an image or part of text and copy it to the clipboard. Well, PDF Password Remover 3.0 can do nothing about user-password protected files, but will allow you to remove owner restrictions. So if you have a file protected by both user and owner passwords, don't even bother with this application, because it is useless. But if you have a file protected only by an owner password, it will work as a charm, decrypting the file and allowing you to gain access to the limited functions. Of course, the files that you decrypt with this application will be playable on any PDF reader. |
